Labour is the basis of any achievement. Without labour it is impossible to achieve permanent and complete success in any field. While rendering the importance of labour, a ethicist has said, "work is accomplished only by undertaking. Not by wishing or thinking. Animals do not automatically go into the mouth of a sleeping lion". There is no doubt in the fact that it is difficult to satisfy the stomach without working hard. Food items will have to be procured by labour, then have to be cooked and then they will have to reach the mouth with hands, only then hunger will be eradicated. Similarly, success will not be achieved without paying the price for the labour of any work.
Whatever opulence, wealth, splendor and good material are there in the world, they are all the result of labour. Labour is the paramount property given to human beings by God. Where labour is worshipped, there will be no shortage. In the absence of labour man will be compelled to fall into tragic circumstances. The indolent, inactive person has to be deprived of the achievements and boons of various substances. Under these circumstances humiliated, helpless, dependent life is worse than dead life.
There are two types of Labour- one physical and the other mental. There is a need to maintain a balance between physical and mental labour. In the balance of both lies the perfection of labour. Mental labour alone is incomplete, so physical labour also remains incomplete in the absence of mental labour. Only by the combined power of thinking and working, the complete form of labour is formed and from that complete success in any field can also be achieved. The need is that we should give place to labour in life. Make labour a life mantra. 😊😊
